FIFA.com is the only official source for new WC26 tickets. Any site advertising "guaranteed" tickets that redirects away from FIFA's platform is either a reseller operating outside FIFA authorization or a scam. Tickets purchased through unofficial channels may be invalid at the gate.
Ticket Categories & Price Ranges
FIFA structures tickets into multiple categories based on seat location. Prices below are approximate based on FIFA's published pricing tiers — actual availability and final pricing depend on the specific match and sales phase.
Best seats in the house — main stands, center pitch view
Sold out fastest in prior roundsGood mid-tier seats across all stands
Most popular tierEntry-level seats, typically behind the goals or upper tiers
Best value for attendingPremium packages with lounge access, food, beverage, and parking
May still have availabilityHow FIFA Ticket Sales Work
FIFA releases tickets in phases via a lottery (ballot) system. Demand far exceeds supply for popular matches, so buyers enter a ballot and are randomly selected. You can apply without guaranteed purchase.
After ballot phases close, FIFA opens remaining inventory for direct purchase. These sell out quickly for high-demand matches — sometimes in minutes.
If you hold tickets you cannot use, you can list them on FIFA's official resale platform. This is the only authorized secondary market — tickets listed here are guaranteed authentic and priced at or below face value.
FIFA Hospitality (through Match Hospitality, the official provider) sells premium packages that bundle guaranteed seating with lounge access, food, drinks, and services. These are significantly more expensive but may have availability when standard tickets are gone.

Secondary Market: What to Know
If FIFA's platform has no available tickets for the match you want, secondary market resellers (StubHub, Viagogo, SeatGeek, etc.) will list tickets. A few things to understand:
- Prices will be significantly above face value for any high-demand match, especially the Final, semis, and host nation games. Budget 3–10× face value as a realistic range.
- Verify the reseller is legitimate. StubHub and SeatGeek are the most established US-based secondary market platforms with buyer guarantee programs. Avoid unknown marketplaces with "too good to be true" pricing.
- FIFA tickets are name-linked. Each ticket is tied to the buyer's identity at purchase. When reselling, the ticket must be transferred through FIFA's own system (for official resale) or the buyer may need to present the original buyer's ID at the gate if outside the FIFA system — policies vary and are not always enforced, but it is a risk to understand.
- Buy as close to the event as possible if prices are too high now. Secondary market prices typically drop in the final 2–4 weeks before a match as sellers accept that unsold tickets earn nothing.
